My Daily Template

Lord, thank you for a brand new day. I know that this is the day that you have made and I will rejoice and be glad in it! (Psalm 118:24) May I move through the day in remembrance of this and in gratitude to you.

And I won't worry about tomorrow, letting the grip of tomorrow's anxieties steal today! No, I am present to today, because I know that today's events are enough for me.

(Matthew 6:34) Tomorrow will be there when I get there.

And in my being present within this day I will seek your guidance and listen for your instruction Lord as I encounter what the day brings; I will be intentional to be still and know your voice! (Psalm 46:10)

In all that I encounter and in all that I do I will acknowledge you Lord, placing your guidance above my own insight, knowing that I can wholeheartedly trust you to make straight my paths.

My main responsibility in this day is to remain attentive, alert, and faithful to you. I know this requires courage and strength in today's world and may it be so as I aspire to do all that I do in love.

All the while, resting in the assurance and finding peace in the knowledge that all works together for good for those who love you Lord and are called according to your purpose. (Romans 8:28)
